Can I use Bioheat® in my present heating system? |

Yes, in any oil fired heating system with little or no modifications. A lot of testing has been done and the results have shown that using Bioheat® improves combustion, lowers emissions and lowers soot build up. |

Can I mix Bioheat® with the oil that is currently in my tank? |

Yes. Both of our biodiesel blends will mix with any regualr oil that might currently be in your tank. |

Are there any other benefits to using Bioheat® ? |

Yes. Biodiesel slowly works to break down the sludge and acid build up from over the years at the bottom of your tank. It also has the ability to help clean the oil lines. Using ultra low sulfur diesel instead of regular home heating oil keeps your heating system from building up more soot, therefore using less energy in order to heat your system. This gives you the ability to save about 3-5% on your heating bills. "Getting more miles per gallon" if you will. |

Does Bioheat® cost more? |

It is actually comparable to regular heating oil prices and will fluctuate like regular heating oil too. This is due to the percentage of petroleum that is still in our product. We are providing an environmentally friendly fuel, cutting foreign imports, reducing emissions and supporting our American farmers. It's cleaner, healthier and better for your home. |

Are there other industries that are using biodiesel blends? |

Yes. For years now diesel truck fleets across the nation have been running on all different blends of biodiesel in all different types of climates. |

Can you use this fuel in your vehicle? |

Actually, the diesel engine was engineered to run on peanut oil. Biodiesel (diesel fuel blended with refined soybean oil) can be used in any diesel powered vehicle. Biodiesl does carry a road tax just like regular diesel. Biodiesel produces similar horsepower, torque and fuel consumption. Please visit www.biodiesel.org for more information. |

Are there any government regulations on Bioheat® ? |

Yes. All biodiesel has to meet ASTM D 6751 standards, whether blended and used in trucks or as home heating oil. |
